TEACHING STYLE: I take a full-embodied approach to my yoga teaching – mental, emotional, physical and spiritual focus. When I first arrived to the mat at age 16, yoga was merely an injury prevention practice. Yet, what I experienced was something like a wholistic healing process. I want every one of my yoga students to feel empowered; I want yoga to feel approachable, because YES, everyBODY can do it.

INSPIRED BY: Empathy, vulnerability and story-telling

FAVORITE POSE: Anahata…heart melting pose…how could an asana name get any better than that?! So juicy and abundant!

A RECURRING THOUGHT: I want to know that person’s hiSTORY – their traumas, their achievements – I want to know it all. I want to know their heart.

FAVORITE QUOTE: Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape.” – Bell Hooks

MOUNTAINS OR BEACH: Water. Any form of Water. Anywhere.
