What’s your favorite way to start your morning before teaching?
A warm drink and a quiet moment to set an intention for class, followed by music and some movement
Coffee, tea, or green juice?
Hot water first, then coffee or tea (depending on my mood)
What’s your go-to post-yoga meal or snack?
I’m a breakfast girl: lately I’ve been loving a sweet potato/kale hash or GF pancakes with stewed apples on top
What’s your current song or playlist obsession?
My music taste is representative of the world around me, with an upcoming trip to New Orleans I find myself being draw to Funk and Jazz
When you are not teaching yoga, what are you doing?
When I’m not giving bodywork (my other love outside of teaching) I do a lot of Self care, pottery, and spend time with the ones I love (preferably outside in the sunshine)
What’s one thing your students might be surprised to learn about you?
My hair has been bald, long, purple, red, blond, and everything in between. I even have a very large scalp tattoo.

What originally brought you to yoga?
Grief.. I thought yoga would be an escape, but it turned out to be an incredible tool for processing
How long have you been teaching yoga and what are your certifications?
I’ve been teaching for almost 2 years now after completing my 200hr. I feel blessed to have a background in bodywork that has allowed me to deepen my understanding of the physical and neurological benefits of yoga
What’s your favorite pose right now and your “love-to-hate” pose?
My favorite pose: Tadasana with closed eyes (mountain pose) even in its simplicity it’s a reminder of the power in a sturdy foundation.
My love to hate: half pigeon
How do you want your students to feel when they leave your classes?
Ideally: like they are floating on a cloud
Realistically: Like they can move through a heavy world feeling a little lighter
What’s the biggest lesson yoga has taught you off the mat?
Magic can be found in both the ebbs and flows
